  • Apple Photos: If all of your pictures and videos are on your phone or Mac, this should be relatively straightforward. Just install Google Photos app on your iPhone or the desktop app for your Mac.
  • Google Photos offers unlimited storage for your photos and videos, a slick website, and automatic-upload apps for Android, iPhone, Windows, and Mac. It's a great option for storing your photos. This photo-storage service was previously trapped in Google+, so it was overlooked by many people.
  • Amazon Photos is closer to being a direct replacement to Google Photos than any other apps on the list well, with the exception of Flickr, maybe. This app gives you 5 GB of free cloud storage.

Third-party apps and extensions expand your editing options in Photos for iOS and macOS. You can apply edits from multiple apps and extensions to one photo, or use any combination of apps and extensions plus the editing tools built into Photos.
